Case Study: Desford – Forterra

Argon has again teamed up with Forterra formerly known as Hanson Brick works the country’s biggest and leading brick manufacturer. Argon have been tasked to install yet another new low pressure gas service at the Forterra brickworks at their Desford site after the installation of a similar gas service at the companies Measham brickworks.

Both sites are upgrading their respective Kilns in order to cope with the growing demand for bricks in the UK and Europe.

It will see the Agon team using the directional drilling technique to install over 1200 meters worth of 250mm MP MDPE. Argon will also act as consultants for Forterra and manage all reinforcement works involved on both projects.
